Whilst we are eager to get back into FabLab and our Eco Furniture Factory to start delivering our usual face-to-face workshops again, we are still in the process of getting everything sorted to be able to reopen safely and securely.
In the mean time, we have developed some brand new workshops to get your brains thinking about all those creative projects you want to create.
This month will see the launch of our “Getting Started With” sessions.
These sessions are offered as an introduction to different areas of DIY, textiles and, of course, Digital Fabrication. Whilst you will not learn everything within these sessions, they will provide you with an opportunity to find out different hints and tips, capabilities of the machines, ask questions and virtually meet other people with similar interests.
Sessions will cover topics such as:
Getting Started with Digital Fabrication: 3D Modelling
Getting Started with Digital Fabrication: 3D Printing
Getting Started with Digital Fabrication: Vector Graphics
Getting Started with Digital Fabrication: Vinyl Cutting
Getting Started with Digital Fabrication: Laser Cutting
Getting Started with Textiles
Getting Started with DIY: Furniture Upcycling
Getting Started with DIY: Tool Introductions
Getting Started with DIY: Fixing a Shelf
Getting Started with DIY: Painting a Room
Each session will cover a different topic. You can choose which ones you would like to complete, all of the sessions do not need to be completed.
All of the sessions will be ran live and online. To make sure you can ask as many questions as you like and chat with other people, group sizes will be a maximum of 10 people. Dates and times of sessions to be published soon!
If you are interested in getting involved, please complete our contact form to register your interest, and one of the team will get back to you with further information.
