Today marks FabLab Coventry’s 4th Birthday.
From small beginnings, we have already come so far. Further evolving, driven by changes and opportunities directly from our community. From day 1, FabLab Coventry has sought to be a community space, designed for and with the community at the heart. From local people helping us to design and make the space initially, to influencing our training provisions and continual evolution.
These past 4 years have seen us widen our provisions and expand our reach in conjunction with local needs and requirements. With the addition of our new Eco Furniture Factory, we seek to continue this into our future, over our 2 sites.
Our successes would not be possible without the incredible support provided to us from: our colleagues in the Centre for Trust, Peace and Social Relations (CTPSR) and wider Coventry University teams; our partners on project funded activities and further afield; the creative communities and businesses of Coventry; and our fabulous participants and Fab members.
We want to thank you all for your continuing support and we look forward to seeing what the future holds.
