As we begin to move out of lockdown, FabLab Coventry is able to bring back some of your old favourites through a slightly different learning model. Blended learning will enable you to complete most of our workshops remotely from the comfort of your own home before joining us 1-2-1 in the Lab to get that hands on experience with our equipment to bring your designs to life in front of your eyes!

The 1-2-1 practical sessions, to complete your designs, will be arranged alongside you to fit around any other commitments you have and to ensure safe, socially distanced learning experiences.

Some of our workshops will continue to remain fully online, and our virtual drop-in, online coffee morning continues on a Tuesday morning for old and new participants to meet the FabLab team and one another virtually, ask questions, talk about any project ideas you may have, or just a general chat over a virtual cuppa!

Also this month, sees the introduction of Digital Badges. Whilst previously we have only been able to offer participants the opportunity to gain recognised acknowledgement of their skills through completing one of our Open College Network West Midlands accredited courses, Digital Badges gives you the opportunity to gain a virtual badge for completion of our shorter workshops. These can be used to evidence your skills to family and friends or even employers through adding them to your CV or social media pages.
